Troll, "JAKT" movie

Here's a troll I created for the short film "JAKT" (meaning "hunting" in Swedish), commissioned by Travelling Festival. I handled modeling and rigging, while Claire Pevern did the surfacing.
I designed the character by studying folklore characteristics and adapting John Bauer's Swedish artistic style. After graphic research, I sketched the character with Claire's help on design refinement and orthographic views.
Once completed, our animator Youen Bouley (https://www.artstation.com/youen) brought the character to life with test animations and facial animation.
